WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
All car hire prices shown above are fully inclusive of:
- Unlimited mileage
- Government hire tax
- Airport collection/delivery
- 24-hour breakdown service
- All cars are fitted with seat belts, radio/cassette and most have a sunroof or air conditioning
- Insurance includes unlimited cover of public and passenger liability, plus property damage. Cover for loss by fire and theft is also included. See important note below in respect of collision damage insurance.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
All named drivers are insured for third party liability. In the event of an accident, you will be responsible for all costs (up to write off value). Collision damage insurance (CDI) is a more comprehensive policy that can be purchased at the time of hire, this will reduce the excess to £250 for groups A, B, C and F, or £350 for all other groups. Full exemption waiver (FEW) reduces the excess to zero.
CDI does not cover, and hirer(s) is/are liable, for the full cost of repairing/replacing tyres, wheels, wheeltrims, wing mirrors, keys/immobilisers, or damage to the vehicle interior unless such damage is caused as a result of an accident with a 3rd party's vehicle; The Jersey Authority have introduced a vehicle registration duty (VRD) which is charged locally at £1 per day.
A government licence fee of £4 per hire will be charged locally. Customers who decline to pay for CDI are required to leave a deposit, credit card imprint or arrange their own fully comprehensive insurance cover for which there is an administration charge. In respect of the latter, the relevant insurance details are required to be with the car rental company on the last working day before taking delivery of the car.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU READ THE CONDITIONS OF HIRE CAREFULLY PRIOR TO SIGNING FOR AND TAKING DELIVERY, OF YOUR HIRE CAR. CDI IS PAYABLE DIRECT TO THE RENTAL COMPANY ON RECEIVING THE CAR.
OPTIONAL EXTRAS
- Petrol is not included in hire charges. For your convenience, the rental company will supply approx ½ a tank of fuel in the car and make the appropriate charge when you take possession. Please note that at the end of the period of hire the vehicle should be returned empty of fuel as no refund is given. It should be noted that given the maximum speed limit of 40mph, and in many areas lower, fuel consumption will be much greater than in the UK.

models are not recommended for families with infants/young children for safety reasons.
- Additional drivers are charged an extra £5 per contract hire, payable direct.
